MEETING OF CARPENTRY

Once upon a time there was a strange meeting in carpentry.

It was a meeting of tools to sort out their differences. The hammer hold the chair, but the assembly notified its resignation. The cause? It simply was “very noisy”, and besides was all the time hitting something.

The hammer accepted this, but requested that the screw should also be expelled The hammer said that it should go round many times to be useful.

In the light of this attack, the screw also accepted this, but at the same time asked for the expulsion of the sandpaper.

The screw proved that the sandpaper was rough and also rubbed with the rest. And the sandpaper agreed, with the condition that the meter were expelled as well, who was always measuring the rest regarding his measure, as if it were perfect.

Suddenly, the carpenter entered, put on the overalls and started to work. He used the hammer, the sandpaper, the meter and the screw.
Finally, the initial rough piece of wood turned into a nice piece of furniture.

When the place was empty again, the tools resumed the assembly. Then, the handsaw took the floor and said: “Gentlemen, it has been proved that we all have faults, however the carpenter works with our qualities. This is what makes us valuable. So let’s not think on our weak points, and focus on the utility of our good points”.

Therefore, the assembly reaches the conclusion that the hammer was strong, the screw joined and the sandpaper was useful to refine rough surfaces, and they observe that the meter was precise and accurate. So they felt proud of their qualities and work together
